Creative arts therapy may include many types of making: paint, drawing, found objects, music, voice and sound, movement, storytelling, writing, poetry, or clay.
Arts therapy engages your whole self, and can be helpful in working with issues you can't verbalise.
Art therapy as a profession has been well established and recognised in western countries since the 1940s.
Art therapy is sometimes confused with art as a therapeutic activity, or art classes. The picture below might help.

If you would like to use other materials please talk to Jodie.
You might like to bring a camera/phone to take photos of your work or your making process.
NDIS & health funds
You can use your NDIS funding if you are plan managed or self-managed, however Jodie is not an NDIS registered provider.
Check with your private health fund provider if they provide rebates for registered art therapists.
